Locations

A private investigator is often required to conduct searches for his clients. The most common cases are situations in which a person is in debt in execution or bankruptcy, and is now trying to avoid his creditors, who want to submit a warning letter, a statement of claim against him or carry out various collection procedures. Rarely will it be a person who has lost contact with him for a reason unrelated to personal debts, but these also happen sometimes.

How do we locate an object?

There are professional objects that know how to hide well and will probably never be found. However, we are mostly dealing with objects that leave different types of fingerprints in different places. In such a digital world, there is a lot of information that we create at all times; All that is needed is to reach him, and there is no person more suitable to do this than a private investigator.

There are all kinds of information that we may locate: address, ID number tracking, phone and other various services. An address is the classic example. Sometimes you can locate an object's address simply by searching under the object's name on the 144 site or something like that. Sometimes it is necessary to locate in less standard places, using methods of the type that mostly private investigators are familiar with, but as long as the person uses his real name at his new address, most likely we will be able to locate him without special difficulties.

The story gets a little complicated when the object uses a fake name, or lives with another person and doesn't report it. In such a situation, there are many possible ways, all depending on the information and evidence we have. For example, a good way to start is through the latest known address we have on the object. For example, it is possible to sniff at acquaintances or neighbors, if they have some information about the next address of the subject. Maybe they even know him by another name, which can be used for our search. A good private investigator knows how to get information out of those being investigated without them even knowing they were being investigated. Sometimes it is even possible to extract such details from telephone service providers of various types, when as long as the information was obtained legally, representatives of such services can be a gold mine of information.

Beyond that, often the client has information that can be helpful in locating the object, sometimes without the client even being aware that he has such helpful information. The role of the private investigator is to know how to ask the right questions, in order to properly locate the object.

We located an address, now what?

As soon as we know what the object's real address is, it is possible to open a series of procedures against it, such as creating court documents, making seizures, arresting, or simply confronting it face to face. A skilled private investigator knows how to find the appropriate address, and bring good evidence that it is indeed the object's address.
